Arbornauts is formed from 2 words – Arbor meaning “tree” and Nauts meaning “people who sail in”.
So Arbornauts means - People Who sail In Trees.
Any Arborist or intrepid tree owner who has ever been high up a tall tree in a gale, will instantly understand the visceral meaning of the word Arbornauts. It can be a wild ride.
www.Arbornauts.com has existed since 1995 and is the historical home for Cheshire Tree Surgeons and Cheshire Arboriculture.
Over the past 30 years I have undertaken research into how trees grow. I know, that sounds simplistic but you will be surprised by the new insights that have come out of that process. Best of all, they are all directly applicable insights that tree owners and Arborists can employ on the sympathetic and effective management of trees. Tree Morphogenesis is all about understanding your trees in new and unusual ways so that you can Simulate Wind Pruning". Central to that is understanding how your own brain interprets and diagnoses the form of a tree instinctively and in a fraction of a second.
